The International Festival of Culture and Art Tourism is held annually in Alanya. Traditionally, the Alanya City Hall invites delegations from sister cities to take part in the celebrations.
In 2023, the theme of the Festival is dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Turkey – Independent Turkic States. In addition to guests from the sister cities of Alanya, the festival was attended by delegations from the following countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, as well as representatives of the embassies of these countries.
The visit was carried out within the framework of the Agreement on the establishment of sister city relations between Murmansk (Russian Federation) and Alanya (Republic of Turkey), signed on February 14, 2014.
