International Economic Cooperation Forum to be held in Minsk

On September 9, 2022, the city of Minsk (Republic of Belarus) will host the International Economic Cooperation Forum as part of the celebration of the 955th anniversary of Minsk with the participation of the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, governors of the regions of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and invited guests from friendly countries. 

The Forum is organized by the Minsk City Executive Committee together with the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

It is expected that the Forum will be attended by owners and top managers of large companies interested in establishing and expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, representatives of various government and non-government organizations. 

The program of the Forum provides for a plenary session and the work of two panel sections:

1. Development of industrial cooperation in priority types of economic activity.

2. World food market and food security; conduct of negotiations; visits to businesses.

As part of the celebration of the 955th anniversary of Minsk on September 9-10, 2022, the following are also scheduled to be held: a tourist exhibition in the Stolitsa shopping center, an exhibition of equipment on the site near the Palace of the Republic, exhibitions in local museums, concerts, theatrical performances, literary and musical evenings, fairs handicrafts, charity events, street festivities, fireworks.
